Mewa means dry fruits, and bari means home. We started Mewa Bari because buying good dates before Ramadan meant guessing: the same name on the box could taste completely different from one shop to the next.

Where our dates come from
Ajwa, Mabroom and Safawi from Madinah, Sukkari from Al-Qassim, Medjool from the Jordan Valley, Mazafati from Iran and Deglet Nour from Tunisia. Figs and apricots come from Turkey, raisins from Afghanistan and nuts from the USA, Vietnam, Iran and Chile. All of them are imported, and the label says from where.
How we choose
We taste a sample of every lot before we buy it, keep stock in a cool store room and pack by hand in Dhaka after you order, with the variety, origin and packing date on every box.

What we will not say
We will not tell you that a date cures anything. We tell you what it is, where it comes from and how it tastes, and let you choose.
Mewa Bari is a demo store made by Aura Digital Bangladesh to show this website design. The products, prices and photos are examples.
